Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany
The Designprize Germany is the highest official German award in the field of design. It is called the ”Prize of all Prizes”.
The reason for this is that no other design prize places as many demands on competitors. A company can only take part in this competition for the Designpreis if their product has already won a national or international prize.
Another prerequisite for participation is the nomination by the Ministries of Economics and Senators of the country or the Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology.
