You can't have enough good designs, but there are far too many mediocre designs!
This realisation was the driving force behind the award Design Plus, launched in 1983 by the Frankfurt trade fair together with the Board of Design and the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK).
The Design Plus award, set in a special ambience due to the renowned jury during the international Frankfurt Consumable Goods trade fair, stands for product design which does not wither into an end in itself, but which is exemplary and pioneering in every way.
