iF Industrie Forum Design Hannover
The iF Industrie Forum Design e.V. has been held on the trade fair site in Hannover for more than 50 years.
Developed from the "Sonderschau formgerechter Industrieerzeugnisse" (Special show for suitably-shaped industrial products" 1953, the e.V. (registered association) received support from the iF International Forum Design GmbH in 2001, who have since then been responsible for all fields of business, above all the implementation of the renowned iF awards.
The iF awards are considered one of the most important design awards worldwide. More than 5,000 annual contributions to the competition provide an impressive confirmation of its importance.
