State Museum Württemberg
Regional history from the Stone Age to the present day is presented in a lively manner at the State Museum Württemberg.
The museum was founded in 1862 as the "State Collection of Fatherland Antiquities". In the 60's, the Museum of Applied Arts was opened at the State Museum.
Since 1969, the museum has been housed at the Alten Schloss (Old Castle) in Stuttgart.
