A point of view instead of complacency

Carl Mertens has been working with designers since the beginning of the 60's. During this time, the cutlery works received its first design prize, the IF Hannover '64 for the MOSAIC serviette rings.

Collaboration with creative employees is always a sequence of dialogues and never a democratic process.

Right up to today, design prizes have proved that the discussion over design is not an end in itself, but rather contributed towards a lively company culture.
